The travelers will first head to Beijing, visiting Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Olympic Bird’s Nest Stadium and of course the Great Wall of China.  They will attend a Kung Fu Show and Tea Ceremony and enjoy a rickshaw ride around the old city.  A five-hour high-speed train ride will take the party to Shanghai and the Yu Yuan Garden, the 88th floor observation deck of the Jin Mao Tower and a Huangpu River cruise.

To cap off the spectacular week, the team will take part on a coaching clinic for local youth players and then face a Chinese team on a special game day in Shanghai.

Since 2008, Global Football has organized the Global Ambassadors Bowl, which provides opportunity of a lifetime for deserving student-athletes to travel internationally, while playing the sport they love while serving as ambassadors for their school, state, nation and themselves.

Team Stars & Stripes head coach Chris Adamson will again take charge of the select roster having led the Americans to a win in China in 2017.

The Global Ambassadors Bowl traces its origins back to Japan in 2008 and has taken high-school aged travelers and mentoring coaches to Europe and Asia to expand their appreciation of the world, make new friends and play football.  In 2017, China was introduced to the series.  Formerly known as the Global Bowl, the series has graced Japan (2008 and 2009), France / Belgium (2010), Germany (2011), Italy (2012, 2013 and 2015), Spain (2014), Czech Republic / Germany (2016), and China (2017) with Team Stars & Stripes boasting an 8-2 record.
