Team USA Announces Practice Schedule;
NFLHS.com Named Official Website of All-Star Game

TEAM USA will kick off its preparations for the NFL Global
Junior Championship IX with a series of practices at The
Bolles School.
Only a month after head coach CORKY ROGERS celebrated
winning the Florida 3A State Championship he is back on
the practice field plotting international success against
visiting teams from Japan, France, Mexico and Canada.
In preparation for the tournament that will be played
during the week of Super Bowl XXXIX, Team USA’s
36-man roster of local high school all-stars will hold
eight practice sessions, beginning Sunday, January 16.

Thursday, January 20 Thursday, February 3
Sunday, January 23
Wednesday, January 26 Practices are from 6:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m.
Friday, January 28 at The Bolles School, Jacksonville
Sunday, January 30
Team USA will bring together scholar athletes from 24
local high schools: Baker County, Bartram Trail, Clay,
Episcopal, Fernandina, First Coast, Fleming Island, Forrest,
Hilliard, Jackson, Lee, Mandarin, Nease, Palatka, Raines,
Ridgeview, Sandalwood, St Augustine, The Bolles School,
Trinity, Union County, University Christian, West Nassau
and Wolfson.
Popular high school website NFLHS.com will again keep
fans and media up to date with all the latest news from
the NFL Global Junior Championship IX.
A dedicated website section - www.NFLHS.com/GJC/ - includes
ticket information, stadium directions, rosters of the
competing teams, features on players and coaches, and
the tournament’s history since it was first played
in 1997. Web surfers can follow the players as they attend
a welcome banquet, hit the practice field, hold a press
conference at the Super Bowl XXXIX Media Center and enjoy
their time in the Jacksonville area.
The NFL Global Junior Championship IX begins at 2:00 p.m.
on Wednesday, February 2 at The Bolles School and on Saturday,
February 5 from 11:00 a.m. Tickets are available priced
$6 per day from Bolles and Mandarin, University Christian
and Nease high schools.
