The BAFL goes Global

The BAFL is delighted to announce a partnership with Global Football Inc. It is hoped that the partnership with Global Football – the US based sports travel Company run by ex-Notre Dame Quarterback, Patrick Steenberge – will provide football players of all ages, their coaches, families and supporters, the opportunity to participate in high-profile events around the world.

This will be acheived through the extensive network of football contacts and business partners Global Football has developed over recent years to create a broad spectrum of games, tournaments, tours, camps and bowls, each targeted to a specific age group and talent level. Ken Walters, BAFL Media and Marketing Director commented "It has been great to work with Patrick and his European partner, Leo Jenkins, over the recent months. It is clear that their product will benefit the development of the BAFL".

Ken added "To define what Global Football is about, it is a sports special events and international travel organization providing the opportunity for young amateur athletes from different countries to compete against one another, while experiencing and learning first hand about each other's cultures. Their primary sport is American football, with the mission of "Uniting the Youth of the World Through American Football'. They also produce swimming events and tours around the world, with the ability to broaden into other team sports as the demand arises, utilizing the athletic event and foreign travel as the learning forum". Ken concluded, "An example of one of their products – now in its 11th anniversary – is the NFL Global Junior Championship XI".

"This event will showcase 240 of the top teenage football players from around the globe during Super Bowl week. International players are hosted by South Florida school communities and local football fans can watch their team of Academic All-Stars compete against the world".
