Continuing its 27th year of travel, Global Football leads 6 teams to a week of Irish culture and skilled competition in Dublin, Ireland before cheering on Notre Dame & Navy.

Six teams will be partaking in the Global Ireland Football Tournament (GIFT) in Dublin, Ireland from August 22-27, 2023. During this journey they will participate in guided educational tours, pep rally, Gaelic Games Experience and early season competition against an equally worthy opponent in a raucous tripleheader. G.I.F.T. producer and Global Football founder Patrick Steenberge notes: These are exciting times for the growth of American Football globally, and I am proud to play a small role in that continued expansion by working closely with the schools and teams from 3 countries and 4 US states to showcase their football talents while experiencing the wonders of Ireland.

Excited fans will be traveling from Naples, Florida to see their very own Community School of Naples battle the Junior Irish Wolfhounds in the 12 noon opening game. Traveling from West Orange, New Jersey for the first time internationally, Seton Hall Preparatory School will go head-to-head against reigning Tennessee State Champion Baylor School. The 7 pm nightcap will feature the NFL Academy UK going up against the Bonner & Prendie Friars of Philadelphia. Games will take place in the Energia Park Stadium as part of Dublin Friday Lights on August 25. The following day, the 6 teams and supporters will enjoy Aviva Stadium, cheering on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the U.S. Naval Academy Midshipmen in an exciting NCAA matchup.
