GIFT2014-logoTickets for the much anticipated Global Ireland Football Tournament (GIFT) 2014 clash between Pennsylvania high school rivals Cedar Cliff and Penn Manor are now on sale at Ireland’s TicketGroup website www.TicketGroup.ie.

The high school American football spectacular will be played at the UCD Bowl at University College Dublin off Stillorgan Road on Friday, August 29, kickoff 7pm.

Tickets are now available at www.TicketGroup.ie priced €10 for adults and €5 for students. Direct link here.

Sports fans will also be able to buy tickets through a TicketGroup app at www.Facebook.com/GlobalFootballLTD.

“The night before Penn State and UCF meet in the Croke Park Classic just down the road, we will provide American football fans with a great spectacle featuring athletes who will go on to be stars of the game in the future,” said Global Football President Patrick Steenberge. “We hope that Irish fans excited at the prospect of watching top college American football will whet their appetite by buying tickets to also watch our game and that traveling fans from the United States will enjoy a unique Dublin Friday Night Lights event while they are visiting the Irish capital.”

Former Penn State and 13-year NFL veteran tight end Kyle Brady will serve as Honorary Chairman for GIFT 2014 and will perform the coin toss before his alma mater Cedar Cliff takes on Penn Manor at UCD.

GIFT 2014 is sanctioned by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA), USA Football and the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) and is a partner event of the Croke Park Classic. The Cedar Cliff Colts, from Harrisburg and Penn Manor Comets from Lancaster last met in the first round of the 2013 PIAA playoffs, when Penn Manor rallied from 21 points down to narrowly win 35-34.
