Global Football has partnered with Big Game USA, the world’s largest American-owned football factory, to provide hand-crafted Team Issue footballs for the Dublin High School Football Showcase to be played in Ireland in August 2020.

High school teams traveling to Dublin next summer will have an opportunity to use Big Game USA’s Team Issue brand balls during regular season games to be played on Friday, August 28, in the capital of the Emerald Isle.

In addition to providing the official ball of the Dublin High School Football Showcase, Texas-based Big Game USA will also supply custom crafted footballs sporting the event logo, which will be used as commemorative event memorabilia and as awards to each schools’ Global Ambassador Student Athlete at the Saturday Tailgate Awards Luncheon, where Honorary Chairman Rocky Bleier will address everyone involved in the High School Showcase, and present the special awards.

“I first visited the Big Game factory in 2017 and was amazed at the quality custom footballs they were building, providing teams with specific designs and quarterback-friendly sizes,” said Global Football founder and president Patrick Steenberge. “They do footballs right, with all products made in America. Having them on board as partners in Ireland next August will allow each participating team to try out these balls, while also providing an international showcase for Big Game to further explain and demonstrate why they are different.”

“Team Issue is proud to be the official ball for the Dublin High School Football Showcase,” said Chris Calandro, founder and CEO of Big Game USA, Inc. “The opportunity to promote the great game of American Football is why our company was founded and we strive daily to advance the development of the most innovative football made in the world.”

Limited spots remain for schools to commit to the adventure of a lifetime to discover Ireland through educational tours and play a competitive game in Dublin. All traveling players, coaches and supporters will also attend the Aer Lingus College Football Classic game between Navy and Notre Dame at the Aviva Stadium on August 29 – the hottest ticket on the Emerald Island. High schools interested in this unique cultural experience should contact Patrick Steenberge at Patrick@GlobalFootball.com / 817-219-7274.
